ABOUT

I am a recent graduate from the University of Creative Arts, Epsom, having studied Fashion Journalism. While I studied here I learnt how to write in a variety of different tones and styles and became confident in using Adobe software such as Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. As result of my degree I have discovered that imagery , layouts and editing are all my stronger suits and so I am mainly looking for an Editor's position, amongst other roles.

In summer 2019, I interned at Holiday Romance Store (@holidayromancestore) as a social media intern and increased their following by almost 2000 followers in just 5 months. I learnt a lot about what makes a successful Instagram for a start up business and how to maintain a good engagement with consumers and followers.

Whilst studying at UCA Epsom, I have created and published two magazines. The first was WAKE UP! magazine, a Spike Lee inspired publication, which I laid out and wrote 3 pieces for. The second is PEPTALK magazine, a mental health magazine for male university students. This publication was created on my own and I was able to get the backing and support from The Gym group and OCDAction when creating this. The designs of these two magazines are incredibly different, showing how diverse I can be when it comes to design work.
